WASHINGTON (AP) — Infowars host Owen Shroyer, who promoted baseless claims of 2020 election fraud on the far-right internet platform, pleaded guilty on Friday to joining the mob of Donald Trump supporters who rioted at the U.S. Capitol.Shroyer, who didn’t enter the Capitol but led rioters in chants near the top of the building’s steps, pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of illegally entering a restricted area. (AP) — An invasive and fish that is voracious predator capable of surviving out of water for days was recently caught in southeastern Missouri, causing worry that the hard-to-contain species will spread and become a problem.The northern snakehead was caught last month in a drainage pool at Duck Creek Conservation Area. GENEVA (AP) — The United States will host the Club World Cup in 2025, the first time the FIFA tournament will have 32 teams.Real Madrid, Manchester City and Chelsea already earned places as recent Champions League winners for the expanded tournament lineup that is set to test stadiums and operations one year before the 2026 World Cup.The United States will host the men’s World Cup with Canada and Mexico, and FIFA could yet give some Club World Cup games to those countries.The Club World Cup will take place in June-July 2025. CHICAGO -- A 67-year-old woman was found dead inside a residence and a 96-year-old woman was injured after a domestic-related incident took place inside a home on the city's South Side Friday morning.According to police, the 67-year-old woman was found unresponsive inside a home near the 7300 block of South Luella Avenue around 8:28 a.m. Police reported she had apparent signs of blunt force trauma and was pronounced dead on the scene. Man critical after driver flees two-vehicle crash on Southwest Side The 96-year-old woman was struck in the face and transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center for an evaluation. There were no other injuries reported in the area and detectives are investigating the incident.
